Independent studio · est. 2021

A studio for software that ships.

01 — Manifesto

What we believe, six at a time.

.01

Strong opinions over committee design.

A clear point of view ships faster and ages better than consensus. We argue an idea hard, then commit and build it.

.02

Production over polish theater.

A live product is worth more than a portfolio piece, every time. We measure quality by what's deployed, not what's framed.

.03

Native craft over cross-platform shortcuts.

SwiftUI for iOS. Real React for web. Server-rendered when it should be. The shortcut you take in week one is a tax you pay in year three.

.04

AI as a tool, not the product.

We use LLMs in our pipeline daily. We rarely sell them as the headline. The interesting product is the one where the AI is invisible.

.05

Few clients. Long engagements.

A small portfolio of work per year, six-week minimum per engagement. Depth comes from rarely being forced to context-switch.

.06

Honest over impressive.

If a thing is hard, we say it's hard. If a deadline is at risk, you'll know before the deadline. Surprises are the opposite of professionalism.

02 — Products

A working portfolio.

/01
ML · Web

Promptomize.

iOS · Personal finance

Piggly.

A focused budgeting app for iPhone. Spend tracking, category goals, and recurring-charge detection — built to make the next financial decision easier, not heavier.

iOS · Realtime AI

Interview Ace.

iOS · Audio ML

MyAutoWhiz.

A vehicle intelligence platform with an audio-diagnostic mode: record what your engine, transmission, or wheel sounds like, and an AI classifier surfaces the most likely cause before the mechanic does.

03 — Services

Three things we do well enough to charge for.

/01 — Native iOS

Polished iOS apps.

SwiftUI, App Store launch, in-app purchases, analytics, support flows. Production craft in a six- to ten-week build cycle.

  • From concept to App Store
  • SwiftUI · UIKit · Core Data
  • StoreKit 2 + RevenueCat
  • TestFlight cohorts
/02 — Web

Web apps and websites.

React + Next.js, server-rendered, accessible, deployed on Vercel or Cloudflare. Marketing sites that load in under a second.

  • Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind
  • Postgres + Drizzle / Prisma
  • Auth, billing, admin
  • Edge-deployed by default
/03 — AI

AI prototypes & consulting.

RAG pipelines, prompt optimization, agent harnesses, custom fine-tunes. Working demo in two weeks; production-hardened in six.

  • Claude · GPT · open models
  • Vector + hybrid retrieval
  • Eval harnesses + observability
  • Engagements end-to-end
04 — Process

Six weeks. Four steps.

01

Listen & sketch.

Week 1 · Discovery

A three-day discovery: the problem, the user, the constraints. Outputs are a one-page brief, a paper sketch of the flow, and an honest go/no-go.

02

Prototype in code.

Week 2 · Prototype

No Figma marathons. A working prototype on real devices by end of week two. Wrong faster, learn cheaper, iterate sharper.

03

Build to ship.

Weeks 3–5 · Build

Three weeks of focused build. Daily deployable trunk. Friday demo to you. Production-grade tests, observability, and rollback paths from day one.

04

Hand over & stay close.

Week 6+ · Aftercare

Documentation written for the next engineer, not for archive. Two weeks of post-launch support included. Retainer for ongoing work, optional.

05 — Writing

Notes from the build log.

06 — Start a project

Tell us what you're building.

Two paragraphs is plenty. We respond within one business day, in plain language, with an honest assessment of fit.
